Happy Persian New Year!

Happy Persian New Year!!

Today I went to meet up with my parents’ and dad’s side of the family to celebrate Persian New Year! The party was located at a family friend’s house in Tarzana, LA. I was so excited to get to see my grandma whom I haven’t seen in a while! She is here for a couple months before she heads back to Turkey so I’ll be sure to get some good hang time with her. We had some delicious Persian food while listening to an awesome dj who played all the hits and even sang in Farsi, Turkish and Kurdish. Very talented:)

I just got home now and am watching Atomic Blonde with Diego!

Night night:)

Bye Oahu! Until Next Time

Hi babes!

Just got back from Hawaii early this morning and the whole flight I was just reminiscing on how wonderful of a trip I had! I love being adventurous and we sure did a lot of that this trip! The weather wasn’t the best but we took full advantage of doing anything outdoors while we could! We hiked, beached, did yoga, took a helicopter ride, skydived and hung out with Diego’s family and old friends! It was so awesome and I can’t wait to go back again soon 🙂

Skydiving Marked Off the Checklist!

You guys?!

Can you seriously believe it? I went skydiving for the first time ever! I am someone who used to love roller coasters and all that but now have such a fear for heights and for something bad going wrong! My fear never stops me from doing something though. I love the adventurous stuff so I just have to keep telling myself that’s it’s all going to be okay. One thing that I thought I’d never ever do though, was skydiving! Since I met Diego, he’s been wanting to do it with me and I always kind of ignored it and said yeah maybe one day. Well this Valentines Day I said I’d do it with him when we got to Hawaii! The time finally came, we did it and had the best time ever! What an amazing feeling! Scary but the amazingness takes over all. I’m so happy I got the chance to do it over beautiful Oahu as well! Success!

Shooting for The Marriott in Waikiki

Hi babes!

How funny is this? So when Diego and I were leaving this one restaurant on the terrace, this guy approached us and and asked if we were staying at the hotel. He works for the hotel and wanted us to stick around for a bit to be a part of a video he is doing for promotional use for the Marriott. We got to talking and he offered us to get a free nights stay if we could do just 1-2 hours of filming by the beach and at the cabana and balcony suite. It was super easy and actually fun doing it with Diego haha. I can’t wait to find this little video and share it with you guys! 🙂

The Perfect Beach Days

Hi babes!

Omg two sunny days in a row?!?

We are freaking out with joy because it has been nothing but cloudy weather and rain since we’ve been in Hawaii! We have taken full advantage of the sun by doing beach days, bike rides and hikes to the top of the mountains:) I love Hawaii and all the beauty it has to offer. Diego and I are at the beach now and about to leave for some poké bowls and happy hour! Then later tonight we have a family bbq pool party! Can’t wait!

Exploring Oahu

Hi my loves!

Oh Oahu has been so magical! Diego’s aunt and uncle have been taking the greatest care of us and welcoming us to their home. We’ve been doing family dinners and hangouts at the house. Last night Diego and I decided to return the favor and cook for them so we made salmon in the oven, sautéed spinach with onion and then a rice pilaf with tiny bits of broccolini and mushrooms! Everyone loved it which was a total relief 🙂

We also went and toured The Mokes in Lanikai which are those two islands that you can see in the photo with Diego! They are so famous here and you can almost see them in every post card or drawing of Oahu. Very special over here 🙂

Now Diego is dropping the family off to the airport so we are going to house sit their place with his dad and sis. Hmm, what to do next!

Made it to Hawaii!

Hi babes!

Good morning from beautiful Oahu! It’s my first time on this island and we are here house sitting Diego’s family’s house while they take off to Australia in a couple days. We are going to take care of their dog Nacho and just explore the whole island together! Diego used to live here for five months so he knows all the cool places to go and all that! Can’t wait!

Have you guys been before? What do you recommend doing?!

Last Meals before Hawaii!

Hi loves!

I can’t believe we go to Hawaii tomorrow! I haven’t been since I was about 16 years old and that was to Maui! This time I’m going to Oahu with my boyfriend’s family to house sit their uncle’s place and to watch their dog while they’re gone 🙂 Diego has lived their before so I’m excited to have him show me the ropes of the beautiful island! I think we might even include a helicopter tour and some snorkeling of course 🙂

We take off tomorrow morning and I’m going to be documenting the whole trip so let me know now if there’s anything you’d like to see and I’ll be sure to show you and tell you all I know!

That Sunset Though!

Hi babes!

After all that celebrating for the last couple weeks, there is no better feeling than getting your mind and body on a health kick. It’s also so important to be surrounded by people who motivate you and that exactly what Diego and I are trying to do for each other! We had salads and made sure to squeeze in a nice beach walk yesterday in between work. Check out how beautiful that sunset was last night!

Salads are from my favorite spot called Sweetgreen! You get to choose everything that goes inside and everything is all so fresh and organic! I’ve been going there for almost three days in a row haha:)

Birthday Dinners for Diego!

Hi lovies!

Wow what a busy last few weeks it’s been! From weddings to birthdays, modeling jobs, Montazami Brand and traveling, I’m absolutely exhausted! Whenever it gets busy like this, it’s always so nice to come home and catch up with everything.

The last few days we’ve been celebrating Diego’s birthday with his mom’s side in Beverly Hills and his dad’s side in Laguna Beach. We just finished up dinner with his dad and sister this evening and watched the movie Coco right after. It was sooooo cute! I love the movies with messages of how important family is 🙂

Earlier today I went home to my parents’ house and did a bunch of laundry and got to see my mom and dad and Emma for a little bit! How pretty does my mom look with her new kimono?!So much love for my fam:)
